Projects run late for one reason more than any other: waiting on material from the client. Here is everything we are likely to ask for, so you can gather it in one go.
Before anything else
Fill in our short questionnaire: crm.neo.com.pk/neointake. It takes about five minutes and tells us what your business does, who your customers are and what you are trying to achieve. Everything below makes more sense once we have that.
For a website
- Text for each page — who you are, what you sell, why someone should choose you. Rough notes are fine; we will tidy them. If you would rather we wrote it, say so and we will quote for it.
- Photos at the best quality you have. Straight from the camera or phone, not pulled off WhatsApp — WhatsApp shrinks images and they look blurred on a large screen.
- Logo in its original file if you have it (.ai, .eps, .psd or .svg). A screenshot or a small PNG will not print or scale well.
- Contact details exactly as you want them shown: address, phone, WhatsApp, email, opening hours.
- Products, if you are selling online — names, prices, descriptions, photos. A spreadsheet is perfect.
- Two or three sites you like, and a word on what you like about each. This tells us more than any brief.
For branding or a logo
- What your business does, in one or two plain lines.
- Who your customers are — age, city, anything that helps.
- Three words for the feeling you want the brand to give.
- Colours you like, and any you cannot stand.
- Brands or logos you admire, from any field at all.
For social media
- Access to your existing pages, or permission to create them.
- Product or service photos and videos — the more the better.
- Whether you want us to write the content or only publish what you send.
If you already have a website
We will need hosting and domain login details, or your permission to request them from your current provider. Please do not post passwords in a WhatsApp group — send them directly, and change them once the work is finished.
How to send large files
Anything over a few megabytes is easiest through Google Drive or WeTransfer. Send us the link. You can also attach files to the questionnaire.
One honest request
Try to send everything together rather than in pieces over several weeks. A project that has all its material on day one usually finishes in half the time of one that arrives bit by bit.
